Our mission is more than just technology — it’s about building the foundations for ideas, communities, and movements to grow without compromise.
Seguru was founded in 2021 during a time of global upheaval. In Australia through COVID, and in the United States during and after the 2020 elections, we saw organizations, businesses, and individuals suddenly cut off from the digital lifelines they relied on. They were deplatformed, locked out of accounts, or denied services — not because they broke the law, but because their views or products didn’t align with the policies of powerful corporations or the political climate of the day.
We believed then, and still believe now: that’s not how the web should work.
We also believe in accountability. We respect the laws of the jurisdictions we operate in, and we will not host content that is illegal or designed to cause real harm. But beyond that line, we see it as our role to protect your right to exist and be heard online. You don’t need to agree with us, and we don’t need to agree with you. That’s the strength of an open web.
To safeguard the digital presence of those who work for something bigger than themselves. To ensure their stories, their work, and their communities can continue to thrive — independent, secure, and free.
